EARLY ACCESS

Bring us a drawing you’d normally redo by hand.

We’ll run SIFDR on it while you watch, and show you exactly what comes back.

WHAT COMES BACK

So you know what "what comes back" means before you commit a file.

A cleaned, structured DWG or DXF

SIFDR cleans up the CAD baseplan on the architect’s DWG and writes it back as DWG or DXF, so your engineer can begin work.

Layer cleanup, duplicate reduction, source quality review

The three concrete pieces of the cleanup, not the abstract word.

Reflected ceiling plans

The grid created, and existing RCPs cleaned up. SIFDR does not populate them.

FORMATS, IN AND OUT

Check this before you send the file.

A firm that sends a scanned as-built and gets nothing back concludes the product is broken. This is here so that does not happen to you.

DWG and DXF, in and out

SIFDR reads both and writes both. It has its own CAD engine, so it fits the workflow you already have rather than replacing it.

CAD-exported PDFs, going in

A PDF works as an input only if it came out of CAD and still carries its layer information. Scanned, photographed, or flattened PDFs will not work, and SIFDR does not return PDFs.

One plan per upload

One floor, one unit type. Multi-unit buildings are handled one unit at a time.

THE BOUNDARY

SIFDR creates the reflected ceiling plan grid and cleans up existing RCPs. It does not populate them.

Populating the RCP stays your engineer’s work. SIFDR is a tool that assists your engineer’s work. It is not the final word, and it is not a compliance engine. Your engineer reviews the plans for accuracy, and the stamp is theirs.

SIFDR reads and writes DWG and DXF. It also accepts PDFs exported from CAD that still carry their layer information — scanned or flattened PDFs will not work, and PDF is an input only. One plan per upload — one floor, one unit type.
